The Fraser is the great river of British Columbia and I’ve been photographing it now for some 30 years. I am constantly awed by its diversity and richness. These images represent a few of the people and places I’ve encountered while traveling its banks.
As a young photographer some 30 years ago, I lived in a small community on the Blackwater River near the town of Quesnel, British Columbia. The photos shown here represent that time and show the place I lived in and people I lived among. I’ve recently reinterpreted these images with the intent of using them for an upcoming exhibition.
